scissor door tutorial
i really dont like when people call them lambos but 70% of the population is stupid so i have to refer to them by the jackass name like how people call spinners "spreewells". i digress i figure i get a head start so that youre all on the same page as i am. if you have suggestions for improvising this tutorial go ahead and feel free to do so unless youre Brand X accesorizer thay shall not be named. if you dont want to ruin a nice car i suggest you buy a JADA dub car or those cheap maistos. this tutorial will work for both 1/24 and 1/18 cars
heres what you will need screwdriver very strong epoxy glue(not super glue) this exact size tubing ![]() and most importantly this. its a pin hinge used to control flaps on RC airplanes most well stocked hobby shops carry them im pretty sure towerhobby carries them as well ![]() lets start off by breaking the car down take the chassie and interior off, in my case im redoing this car 100% so i did a full teardown but the dash will need to remain on the car as the dash will be the main support for the hinges. put the parts somewhere you wont loose them i keep everything in a 1 gallon zip loc. ![]() start by removing the doors ![]() youll need a drill to remove the rivets and this covers the lesson till further notice

Re: scissor door tutorial
ok im back had some set backs, heres how im gonna lay this out do you want hinge style lambos or Koenigsegg style doors? im gonna do both eventually but the beamers owner unfourtunately wants koenig style doors which will require solder or a rod that can be bent to 90 deg.
