2001 Neon R/T vs. 2002 Acura RSX-NOT type S

I have been waiting to race a friend of mine for a while now, my 2001 Chrysler Neon R/T 150HP against his Acura RSX(not type S) which is 160HP.

He has 2 things going for him already, the 10 HP advantage and his car has half the KM's that mine does

Our cars are both stock

I think I am a better stick driver then him, but even if I am it wouldnt be by alot

Let me know what you guys think before I go and do it!

he should beat you. allthough you have nearly the same torque specs, his top end power will get you. not by alot, but he should

If you have MTX you can get him. Unless he has mtx too. if he is auto then you can get him.

Um, MTX stands for standard or manual. ATX means automatic. I guess I forgot that everybody doesn't know that. Sorry. If both of you are MTX then he might get ya.

Smile Take the challenge

Take the challenge. If u lose, it's "normal", but if u win you can be proud. Empty fuel tank/high octane could help you.

No high octane. The sohc is designed to run off the low grade stuff.

SOHC and the TEG will beat you in the high RPM band once VTEC kicks in, but racing is always fun!!
