? about Revell new releases

Do any of you guys know when some of revell's new models are coming out?
I preorderd the escalade and focus from towerhobbies at the beginning of april, but other sites are showing mid april as the release date.
www.revell-monogram.com shows a march release date but I swear a month ago it said they were coming out in april.

I was just wondering b/c some of you guys seem to be a few steps ahead of the game when it comes to new releases.

Thanks for the help.

Thats a good question. Maybe they are out in certain hobby shops? I wouldnt mind getting the Eclipse and stuff. But I havent seen any new releases lately from RM.

Tower usually holds there word to when they expect to get stuff in stock. Its probably on RM's side of the bargain.

Re: ? about Revell new releases

R-M are notorious for announcing release dates and not meeting them.....you'd almost say it's a standard practice of theirs.

I work in the new product division of a multi-national and if we performed like R-M's new product people we'd be out on the street looking for work!

The Escalade will be out in early June and the Focus will be out in July, there dates are deffinents, and they are almost garenteed to be out at those dates

Revell was just recently bought out, and the new owners I understand are alot pickier then the olds ones. if it aint perfect it goes back to the toolers to be fixed. which means alot better product will go to the consumer, take the SSR for example, it was delayed a couple time to have new item retooled and the kit was perfect, just be happy there not taking as long as they did with the 40 Ford, it took 3 years for Revell to get the kit out, and it was only a modifyed reissue from the 40 Ford Vert kit.

yuns getta get some patience, these are model car monufactuers, not Microsoft, theres gonna be delays from any company (Tamiya, Fujimi, AMT, Revell....................) actually if memory serves me correctly was'nt the XBOX delayed 6-7 months, so it happens with every company

Not with the company I work for, if we set a date to release a new product, we live and breathe that date, regardless of how many hours we have to work.
It's called being customer driven.
