Re: Eclipse or EVO
i dont know much about the horsepower potential of the Evo but if i could have afforded it, i would have gotten one. i wouldnt have cared if i could get more horsepower out of a GTS or not. but thats just me

the image i get is that the EVO is a purebred sports car, whereas the GTS maintains that everyday drivability... not that I wouldn't drive an EVO everyday!

Re: Eclipse or EVO
But if the Eclipse is a GT-S. It has bigger cylinders and has a turbo kit on it. Whereas an Evo has bigger cylinders and upgraded turbo? Which has the bigger amount of hp? Wouldn't it be the Eclipse?!? Think bout it. 6cylinder turbo or 4cylinder turbo???

The 3g Eclipse (00-present) come in both 4 and 6 cylinders, both without any turbos and both front wheel drive. Man do a search, I can't believe this is even being posted... |

Re: Eclipse or EVO
Yes, you really need to take a look at the cars. There is no 3G GT-S that comes with a turbo, it just doesn't happen.
Between an EVO and GT-S, I would get the EVO coming out next year the MR. It has the 4G63 engine, 19psi, electronic AWD, more horespower, bigger turbo, ful CF wing, new wheel, runs the skidpad at .98G (as the stock evo is 0.88) and loses 300lbs. |
