California Front License Plate Law Petition...

Hey, guys... here's a link to a petition. Do you hate the law pulling you over for NOT having a front plate? I hate it! If you hate it as much as I... you should sign this too: PETITION Be heard!!!

i'm not from cali, but i'm gonna sign it anyway cuz front plates suck balls. the only thing that sucks is that even if the law is revoked you're still gonna have 2 holes drilled on your front bumper. i don't know if you're the petition author but i would have omitted part about how it effects your cars performance. like cali legislature doesn't have enough problems with street racing

They have that same law in NY, but I never put the front plate on...I figure when I get pulled over for speeding and try and talk the cop outta it, at least he'll have a lesser charge that he can cite me on. county gets money...insurance doesn't.

yeah i would have left out the part about performance too. come on, california and performance dont go together. thats why the "california special" cars that you hear advertised arnt any better, they are worse. they have less power than the out of state cars, and have more crap for emisions. my next door neibor has a new dodge desil truck that is not allowed in califrnia. he has it registered out of state, the damn thing has like 690 something ft; lbs of torque and like 500 and something HP. they couldnt even put the alison,(spelling), tranmissions in them cuz it would rip them apart too. but i think that geting rid of that stupid law is a good idea, but then again its cali. stupid laws is what they do best here. i personaly dont have a front license plate on my chevelle and now im really glad. one night a month or so ago me and my frind we one our way home and i went through a light that had a red light camera, and i got my picture taken. now it was raining and if i would have tryed to stop i would have slid all the way through the intersection and ended up crashing. so i was not about to even try to stop. and that right there. the red light camers, is why they will probably never get rid of the front license plate law. that was the main reason they stated enforcing that law, cuz they started putting those damn cameras up. and im willing to bet they didnt make the streets any safer either.

I got caught leaving the races, not caught watching, not caught on the run I just made, but leaving. Reamed me for a hour in the cold...and then poped my hood, didnt know what I had in there and gave me a front plate ticket for not having one.

i live in missouri and my dad bought a formula firebird from michigan where they apparently dont have the plate law and it didnt have a place for the plate without buying a 30 dollar frame and drilling holes into the beautiful fiberglass front end. fuck that ill sign.

Oddly enough I've got an outstanding fix-it ticket for this at the moment. Got popped for doing 75 in a 65 and the CHP officer thought I needed more grief.
