stereo question

have a 2003 se-r with rockford system and stock cd changer (the in dash one that is seperate from the HU).
How is the changer run to the HU - simple RCA cables or multi-pin plug? Just need some help before I start tearing stuff up.

(yes, I also posted about the Ipod - but this question is what I really need to know.)

Re: stereo question

No rcas, just normal wires going to a plug that plugs into the back of the headunit. I'm not sure which wires do what, or what you need to splice into to attach anything.

Re: stereo question

was just wondering - if they were RCA, hooking up an IPOD would probably be easier. Trying to figure out best way to attack this thing without tearing it apart first.
thx for help, any other suggestions you folks have would be great.

Re: stereo question

If you have a multimeter and a low-power external amp it will make things a lot easier to find out which wires do what
