Anyone have this model?????

Mine's Nissan Skyline GT-R Nur

Does anyone have this model? I need to know if the decal sheet has Nur Spec PRO decals. If so, I would purchase the kit. Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.

EDIT: BTW, I looked up the contents on Hobby Search already but still can't make out what the decal sheet says.

Ask your local hobby shop if you can open the box. mine will let you if you need info before you buy it, such as what color its molded in, what paints you need, what decals, etc. they then reshrink wrap the box and put it back on the self, or most often then not, you buy it. see if you can do that.

Re: Anyone have this model?????

hobby shops should do that for you. most of the time i just ask for what paints are required and they will just open it for me and check, because i dont really buy it i just go to the hobby shop for paints because the models are really pricey for a ordinary kit (eg. 1/24 tamiya r34 gtr V-spec II), and yeah then they just put it back on the shelf after i buy the paints.

Re: Anyone have this model?????

My LHS doesn't have the kit. I would have to order it from somewhere.

Your LHS are good. Last time i went to mine and I mistook the R34 Vspec for the R34 Vspec II (which I was intending to buy). Too bad they had opened up the box of the Vspec 1 and I must buy it cos they don't have equipment to shrink wrap the box. Anyway I'm curious why is it called 'shrink' wrap?

Because it wraping that shrinks!

ok...;-)>

The "shrinkwrap" is actually a tube of thin plastic that model box is slid into and then the edges are sealed with a little bit of heat and then a heat soruce is quickly applied to the plastic and it literally shrinks to engulf the object.

Strangely enough all Japanese models are shipped from the factory sans shrinkwrapping and the importer/distributor shrinkwraps them before sending them out. That is why HLJ kits are rarely if ever shipped "shrinkwrapped"!

hth,

Bill
