Best Exhaust Pipe Size

Well what do yall suggest for an NA Integra. Like in inches whats the best size to use. It seems alot of aftermarket cat backs are to big and you end up loosing critical torq, in the lower band.

It's basically a resonator, it supresses the sound a bit without taking the power away a silenceer does. A good muffler guy can also use them to "tune" the sound of the exhaust note, in this regard.

Re: Best Exhaust Pipe Size

The piping size depends on the engine. My type r has a stock 2.5" collector on the exhaust manifold, so 2.25" is a tad small for it. For most everything else like b16a's, b18a/b's, and all the sohcs, 2.25" would be fine.
