Question Keyless pad/alarm problem PLEASE help!

Just got a '95 ETC. Alarm test in manual shows it's OK, but doesn't set and function otherwise. Code problem?? Also, pad locks, but doesn't unlock doors. Trunk opens fine. Any idea???? Thanks!

you need a new key fob. Personally, I would be happy the OEM alarm doesn't work. They usually do nothing but false alarm anyway.

Re: Keyless pad/alarm problem PLEASE help!

Thanks for input. It DOES work ....sometimes! I (somehow) got it to go off 1 time. This concerns me as it's not that loud (so it'll probably go off and I won't hear it) and I had to turn the key in the door to kill it! Maybe I should disconnect???????
