Re: gas

depends on the car...

on my dohc zc civic lx i run 91+

and on my turbo mini me, i run at least 94

But anything works, just depends on your type of driving

Re: gas

I only use premium 91, really sucks at like $2.60 a gallon and barely gettin' 200 mpg. I think San Diego is like the highest in the country.

Santa Fe is usually $2.08 for premium, which is 91 octane.
The Indian Pueblos are exempt from the gas tax, so they sell 91 octane for 1.60 or 1.70 on their sale days.

Re: gas

Hmm here it is about 1.85 for 87, 1.95 for 89, and 2.05 for 92. However at Costco you can get 92 for like 1.96 so that is what I've been doing lately. It is really expensive but its like an extra 2 dollars per tank to put in premium and it runs a lot better.

Re: gas

Pioneer 93 Magnum or Sunoco Ultra 94.
Higher compression kinda sucks.

Re: gas

Anything higher really isn't nessicary. A stock D16 or D16 doesn't even need high octane, they're made to run on low octane fuel.

Re: gas

True but if I'm paying that much i may as well get better octane, lol.

And yeah my car runs ok with 87 but when i put in 92 it just feels a lot better.
