engine cover?
well i dont know if thats what it is called but i am talking about the plastic cover on top the engine that ses 2.0 DOHC 16 valve. Well i saw some pics of people that had theres in diffrent color i was wonder what type of paint to use to paint it and is it easy to take off to paint.

Its called a valve cover. It just unbolts to take it off. But it has a gasket. I think people use ceramric high temp paint.

i think hes talking about the spark plug cover. the valve cover is metal

yeah get ya some high temp paint if you want it to last at all.. iv seen sum normally painted ones not fare so well...

If you just sand down the valve cover with some sandpaper or steel wool, or a power sander, you can hone it down to a brushed aluminum or even a mirror finish. Looks the best in my opinion.

I wanted to do mine myself, but all that siliconing blah blahkept me away from it...my advice, if your not an expert, do NOT attempt this on your own...Check out mine though..I think the candy apple is sweet:
