Installing a Short Ram, '89 CRX Si

Hey, few questions here...

First off, this is pretty basic, but I got an eBay short ram system for my CRX. The only mounting hardware was an "L" bracket. How does this attach? I had a thing rigged up, but it obviously wasn't right (I had to bend the bracket) and the filter popped off after a few miles of driving.

Secondly, if I had a ZC, D16Z6, D16Y8, B16, or B18A installed - could I use the same intake I would currently use?

Thanks.

L bracket? What company sold you the intake bro? My ebay intake didnt come with any brackets, mine just sits in there, and you have to screw the filter down with a clamp...can you take pics to show whats goin on? Also, I dont see why you couldnt use the same intake...I could be wrong, but then again, I dont know the placement of your engine and battery right now, so it might not....but take pics and I can probably better help you.

The "L" brackets probablt attaches the instake to the inner fender, just like the stock air intake did. My iceman attaches like that.

Yeah, pictures really would help. My brother has the car right now though

I had my intake loose without any brackets for a while, but it was pushing against my front-right lowbeam headlight and seemed wrong...

Here's basically what I bought, although the filter looks slightly different:

What i pritty much did with mine is from the clamp that holds on the air filter, i fitted the little L bracket to.(pritty much put it in there and tighten it down) Then bending the other bracket, one end should bolt up to the L bracket, then the other end to one of the holes that you can bend the flat bracket to connect to. Tighten everything down and give it a try...I bet there is another way to do it a little better but this should get ya going.
