240 body shapes

Whats up guys. Im in the msrket for a 240 and was wondering something. Is there a difference in body shape between 89-93 fastbacks. I know about the technical differences between them (ka24d and ka24de) but i dont know about cosmetics. it looked to me as if the wheel wells were a bit different. also quick question, if i can get a 89 auto 240 fb for a grand or a 93 fb stick for 3 grand which should i go for?

93 fb stick. less problems most likely and you don't have the replace the power steering lines if you do a sr20 swap. and cuz it's STICK.

if my memory serves me correctly, 89: SOHC, pignosed front 93: DOHC, usually hatchback style, different front. and 89 is 4 years older than 93

read the FAQ it will help understand the cars. 89-90 was pignose SOHC about 145hp(i forgot lol) and the 91-94 is DOHC about 155hp..94 was only made in convertable coupe auto no stick made in that year (unless someone did the conversion) from the factory. I think the dimension is the same between the 89-93 hatchbacks except the front end.

Wasn't 93' the year of the convertible, and 94 was the S-14?
Man I hope so because that's what I've been saying for the last year or so =( .

89-90= Zenki S13 Ka24E SOHC 145hp
91-93=Chouki S13 Ka24DE DOHC 155hp
92-94= S13 coupe CONVERTIBLE AUTOMATIC TRANNY ONLY

95-98= s14 (97-98=kouki s14)

get the 93 my friend, i own 1 and it's been verry reliable i've had for 2 years and the only problems i've had was a broken water pump and the alternator both after 105 k besides it's doch and has more power, i thinik 3k is too much i paid 2,700 for mine and it had 85k and it's stick feel pretty strong compared to my friends 90 s13, get the 93.

woot woot i remember the hp of the 2 engines lol but yea 94 was the last year for the 240sx being s13 chassis but it was only auto and convertible.
