Dropping in Canada (As Dumb as it Sounds)

Okay this is my first post here, and I am looking for some experts out there with your advice on body kits.

Im from Northern Canada and I want to do a body kit on my 99 Hatchback. HOWEVER!! there are a few practical issues of magnitude

a) Im the only idiot I know that would ever suggest such an idea. I come from a city where you RAISE vehicles. not lower them. And you raise them because you need to. Snow comes in three depths deep, extra deep and submarine deep.

b) canadian roads are in general horrible. We have these rediculous speed bumps in northern ontario that you californians would call small mountains. These things can be 1.5 feet wide and come 9 inches off the road surface I need a body kit that is going to give me some ground clearance!

So basically what I am looking for is a body kit out there that is going to leave me with some reasonable ground clearance. As much as I want to use a drop kit, anything over 1 inch is just impractical for where I live. Does anybody out there know where I might find some higher profile body kits that will leave me some "breathing room" between my ride and the perils of the canadian highway?

Links, ideas, sources, anything ... much appreciated

Get a front and rear lip. No matter where you live, lips are more practical and look 54308509348543x better anyways.

i agree about the lip thing. i wouldn't be worth the money if you got the body kit then had to drive over all that crap. i live in missouri and i think that its hard enough having a body kit here...between the gravel roads and the curbs on driveways.....i should 'a just got a lip on it
