Pulleys + Supercharger?

I heard that you can't have underdrive pulleys with a supercharger is this true? I have already ordered pulleys and I am looking to get a supercharger soon. Thanks in advance!

if you underdrive yoru accessories then you'll also be spinning your blower a little slower, meaning less boost. all you have to do is get a smaller blower pulley and you'll make up for it.

Re: Pulleys + Supercharger?

be aware, the smaller blower pulley usually voids the charger's warranty. I know it does with vortech anyway but this doesn't seem to stop anyone i know. . .

Where would I find this pully for the SC?? I have a vortech Sc on my 98. in 7 days I am doing an "new" engine swap..new Alum 4.6 all modded and no stock parts....
I bought the BBK underdrive pulleys. In my situation, I will also have an after cooler running too. I should be in the 500+hp range, but am wondering if that Sc pully may bost that up a bit??

Just called Vorteck and a performance shop and they both said "NO Underdrive Pulleys with a Supercharger!"...
Do not do it.
Even if you change out the Scharger pulley, you will stil loose boost and ruin the Scharger eventually and void the 3yr warranty if u paid for it...

ps: I am now sending my BBk underdrive pulleys back to summitRacing equipt.
