Fuel Injection Cleaners
Any recommendations for a SL1?
Id hate to get something that would do no good or worse yet...do harm to the system. |

Re: Fuel Injection Cleaners
I've used STP fuel cleaners and octane boost on my 97 SL2, no problems for me.

I have a 94 SL1. I have used most brands, STP, Penzoil, Amoco. They all seem to cause no problem, and routine use has done me better than the expensive cleanouts I used to get at the dealer. Some months ago the Penzoil oil change place talked me into adding Slick50. They recommend it to all cars that eat a lot of oil, which means older Saturns. I decided to go for it. My engine ran noticeably nicer.
