replacing weather stripping/molding around car

i have a 95 eclipse gs that is in good shape except it has no stereo and was recently keyed. i am looking to replace the weather stripping(molding), not sure exactly what it is. at first i thought it was just paint, but it appears to be some type of part.? Does anyone know where i can get this from? also i need a passenger side door handle?

The rubber above the window, or the plastic below the door?

it is the rubber above the window, but i believe it is the same all around the car. i tore off a little piece and there seems to be over metal.

a little bit longer and the top stripping above my window will be lookin shiny like chrome. I think the top is different than the one where the window is on the door.

I wonder if a paint-on substance like Rhino Liner would work...or maybe something more rubbery? If the part itself can't be replaced...

I'm not sure. I know the bottom parts and for the back windows are not cheap from reading on another forum. You can get them from bob kise..

Re: replacing weather stripping/molding around car

JCWhitney has all the weather stipping for the car. but it's kind of pricey. I wouldn't go with the rhino liner stuff. it's too hard and probably won't seal very well. you might be able to do that and then add a stick on rubber liner or somethin around the window area. just a thought. Good luck
