I would agree with andy's auto... I only just heard about them recently when i come onto automotiveforums, and found a quite a few things that i would like to get. I do agree that PFYC isn't that great, they really are starting to slip.... they used to have some nice things at one time but they keep discontinuing things without notice... what's up with that? I really would have like to get the SC/T body kit that they offered...but again they discontinued it... i would say they are good for a few items and that's about it the rest you can find cheaper or better somewhere else.

Re: Body Kits

the MFX kit is a blatant rip-off of the AED kit, I mean what kind of moron would steal a design and claim it as their own?

Re: Body Kits

I don't car if you love or hate AED, either way it's no excuse to steal something from someone.

Re: Body Kits

i love it, this shit is like a soap opera. anyways i just have to say that Karma is a bitch. All the constant threats AED pushes on people, and there lawsuit happy ways was just bad karma, and it built up and now this is the result.

the business world is not a fun place, but its business plan and simple, all the underhanded, knock down drag out things that come with it. and AED and mfx are playing the game, we shall see who wins.

The company known as MFX is currently under lawsuit for fradulent business practices along with copyright infringment on tradedress. DO NOT BUY THIS KIT. If you purchase this kit from anywhere other than AEDCentral.com you will not recieve this kit and could become subject to this lawsuit as you are partaking in fraud. This kit was made through GTP International and apparently 5 or 6 kits were made. They put pictures of the kit up on their site, importfan.com, and those were subsequently taken down within 5 days of their apperance because GTP/MFX or whatever you want to call them is in fear of the law suit. The person who donated this car is named darren. The chick selling this kit is obviously related to him some how as he cant personally sell the kit cause we ALL know who he is. He had to put up the money for these kits, and is tryin to make his money back and thats why she is pawning these kits off. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY THIS KIT. GTP has also been removed from SEMA and there is currently legislation going on in California and the national level to protect tradedress rights.

AEDCentral is one of the multiple companies invovled in this whole process. Len Dodd, Jr. is in constant (every other day) contact with SEMA officials and their lawyers to make sure this can not continue.

ALSO noted is the hood in question on the silver 99+ grandam w/ the AEDCentral kit. This hood was one of a kind made by the owner, and since then AEDCentral has purchased the rights to that design of the hood from the originator. Purchasing this hood has the same consequences as the kit, although i have yet to see this hood in actuality, and the purchase of the design rights to this hood occured long before MFX or GTP had darren put pictures up of it. (although it looks like they just photochopped the actual hood onto darren's car.)
