Angry crankwalk again!?

ok guys...i've had my car back for a little over a month now...i have almost 5,000miles on a new short block, clutch, trannie, master & slave cylinders, turbo and some other odds and ends....well i just noticed the other night that when i make left turns, my clutch gets kinda mushy...i've heared this is a possible sign of CW...other than that problem, i have no other complaints about the car...what do you guys think? i also changed my oil exactly at 3,000miles and put Castrol Syntec full synthetic in it...and i constantly keep an eye on my oil level. i really hope i don't have to go through this again thanks for any help...

Re: crankwalk again!?

I have heard that as well.....It has something to do with the crank sliding. When you push in the clutch it has to slide the crank back into place (that's why it is mushy at first, you aren't doing anything to disengage the clutch until the crank is back in place). Please feel free to correct me if I'm not explaining that correctly. You or your mechanic can always check to see if there is play in the crank. If I remember correctly GSXracer said that there should be a small amount of play. I believe he gave the tolerance....you should be able to search for the post.
