testing ignition module?
Does anyone know if you can test an ignition module on a 93 bonneville 3.8 liter ? I called autozone and they said they could not test that one.I'm not getting any fire from coils.THANKS

I'm stumped here in michigan.I tried a new crank sensor,a new camshaft sensor,and i put on a used ignition module from salvage yard.[Not sure if its good or not] I really did not want to spend that much money to get a new module if thats not the problem

code 42 is bad ignition module..id try another one....

had this happen at work...98 grand am...i believe the used one we got was out of a 2001..started right up...this is definately your problem...
