98 accord tranny problems

i just got a accord it is a 98, and yes I am covered by warrenty but can someone please tell me why it only does this in the mornings?

it shifts really hard... it hesitates before it shifts, they told me that it is just cold and that i need to warm it up before I go. but it is getting worse!

any thoughts as to what this might be? Im curious to know. like i said it will be fixed. im covered, i just want to know what could cause all this ?

Im not low on tranny fluid eaither. oh and it is a 4 banger.

let me know fellas! thank you!

this tranny is an automatic and we usually drive this in D4

Most Accord automatics are prone to hard shifting when cold.
Try changing the fluid with Honda fluid and throw in a can of lube guard... That seemed to help mine a little.
