Question Front bumper piece?

Does anybody know the name of the piece that runs under the front bumper on (2002) ls sports and z24's. The only whay I can describe it, is that it makes the car look sportier. I just don't know what it called.

Re: Front bumper piece?

are you talking about the ground affects? like the little 1/2" lip on the bottom off the bumper? if so, Wing West sells them...

Re: Front bumper piece?

I think he is talking about the black plastic air dam under the bumper. You could pick one up at a dealer or a junk yard

Front bumper piece?

i agree, u can find one at any junkyard or even order them from a parts store, however i can assure u that u'll be fine w/o it cuz i had one on mine and it broke off about a year ago, someone told me it would make the car run a little warmer than usual, but i have seen no change

Re: Front bumper piece?

they really dont do anything for cooling. Its mostly for aerodynamics. It helps to put downforce on the front wheels. doesent really matter if you dont have it
