Help Please with Rod

Does any one knows what size of rod goes for wheels. I can buy then in 24-48" leight in LHS, but I don't know the size that I should get?

Any help please?

2.0mm....atleast that what's I bought after i followed the tutorial by FOTW. It might vary by a little bit dependant on the kit. I would stick to the 2.0mm, I haven't had any problems yet

The shafts on Tamiya male wheels tend to measure 0.077". I've managed to find music wire of exactly this diameter at my LHS for converting Fujimi wheels. The holes in the brake disk parts that retain the poly cap are about 0.080", so don't go larger than this!

Thanks a lot.
Last week I bought a wire for rods @ my LHS and this was almost the size I needed but for some reason my wheels weren't staying on very well and everytime I try to put wheel bit farther and harder it just won't work, then I compeared the original rod and realized it wrong size.


Thanks a lot. I'll go there today and get some of that.
