Keeps killing crank pully

I have a `95 GT and it keeps breaking the crank pully. I have never had this problem before and can't recall any reason why it would do this but I've already gone through two in the past six months. Anyone elsy had a similar prob like this?

maybe somethings wrong with the balancer? what happend to the pulley exactly?

Not sure exactly. It just started shaking wildly one day and I took it into the shop to have it looked thinking it would cost more than its worth to fix. They said that the crank pully was cracked in half and about to fall off.

Unless "somehow" it wasnt bolted down right the last time, my vote goes for a bad balancer.
