I need to go to one of these meetings soon, maybe the May meeting? I'll bring my roadster project.

Also, Ill probably the young gun of the group. Probably the youngest guy in the area in ACME.

Here's our website, with a map and calendar of meeting dates. The July 4th meeting will be held on the 11th, that update should be posted soon.

ACME Club Website

There is a lot of information on our annual show as well. We're hoping that Chris from Scale Auto Style can make it this year. It's a killer show!

I think i'm the youngest now at 30...lol

Besides Harrison who's 12 or 13 I think..

Come on up to a meeting, it's always good meeting new people who build cars. I want to see your roadster!

Yesterdays meeting was a great turn out, and lots of fun.

Thanks for the link. I checked out the site, sounds like fun. I really look forward to coming to one of these meetings.

I would like to come to the NNL show too.

Also, I think I will be the youngest there at the tender age of 15 going on 16 in May.

Does ACME have an annual charge like IPMS?

I looked through the pics you posted and Veyron's Shelby is looking good, get some more pics Veyron.

Cool! Harrison is about 12, and CADguy has brought his 2 boys to the meetings before. Harrison comes w/his mom and dad to nearly every meeting and he gets a big kick out of it, yesterday he scored a ride in a new 350Z track edition one of our members just got. He builds more models than any of us. Age is unimportant, as long as you dig model cars you should have no trouble fitting in and having fun.

Like Veyron says, none of us act our age. Especially when we're talking about our toys!

No dues to join ACME, the ACME show does well enough to cover expenses the club incurrs-and the club members help w/the show so it's a reward of sorts not to pay dues-our costs dropped dramatically when we quit doing a paper/snail mail newsletter. We sell door prize tickets at the meetings for $1 apiece to offset the cost of renting the facility for the meeting.
