Underneath infinity i30 or Maxima

I have a 96 Infinity I30T.
When I found out about a front end oil leak I decided to get the water pump and belts replaced.

I shopped around and when my car was returned 17 days later I noticed it was noisier than before.

I looked underneath and saw that there was no material covering the bottom of the car like on my Celica.

I believe there was something here before.

Below is a picture of what the underneath of my car looks like now.

If others out there with 96 i30 or Maxima could please let me know if this is normal or not I would appreciate.

TIA

Your missing the whole side cover assembly.

17 days for a water pump and belts?

Find another mechanic to work on your car. It's very obvious the one you went to should not be in business.

i have a 1995 maxima se and you appear to be missing 2 black plastic shields. make sure you don't get any rocks in there you'll tear your water pump belt. and watch your oil filter.

look on others

all you have to do is look under your parents car.,.. no matter how shitty the car is, 99% of cars come with a plastic covering protecting belts, filter, etc... you should also be careful of driving her in rain... water might splash into your bay.. that sucks real bad man... call that place and have them replace your shit..
