How thorough is the Chilton's repair manual?

Would it have information on the replacement of some sensors. Like cleaning and replacement of wheel speed sensors,or replacing the steering wheel sensor? I have the Haynes manual. It doesn't cover either sensor. Thanks for any help. Capt.

The new Chilton's manuals are actually produced by The Haynes Corporation. I would guess that they would not, cover that if the Haynes don't sorry.

I like the Factory Service Manuals the best. You can buy them new at www.helminc.com or look for used ones on ebay.

Ditto 2000CAYukon, the Haynes or Chilton's manuals leave soooo much to be desired, only the factory manuals tell the whole story!

GM repair manuals are the best way to go. I can't shell out $135.00 for them. Looks like I'll be using that money for gas. I'll just have to keep looking on ebay. If things get tough I can always post here for information.

I think a Tahoe would fall into the C/K catagory. Make sure you get the 4 volume Second Edition manuals if you choose to go that route. You can probaly get them for $50-80 on e-bay.Also keep in mind that these manuals are for professional auto tech's, so they are written in a way that assumes you know the basics already.
