how much do you think it will cost to have a nice custom box made for the trunk (of my gs)

depends on a couple different things. YOu can build your own actually. I am in the process of building a nice setup for my friend's GS right now. we're building a false floor and dropping the amp down into it and covering it with plexiglass and runnin some nice lookin neons around it to give it a nice glow. then the subs are mounted facing in at an angle. it's a really sweet setup. we bought everything at home depot. you just get measurements of the trunk and buy some plywood and cut it to fit into the trunk snugly. then do all your cutting. same with the boxes. make a good design, (search on google and you'll find a bazillion different setups) and then once you have everything built you bolt it all up and wire everything. then carpet it or glass it. depends on what you want to do. it'll take time... but if you do it right it'll look really good. I'll try to post up some pics when we're done with his. we're still workin on getting his kit on right now. I'll post pics of that too.

oh.. forgot price. all of this can be done for 100 bucks or less. depending on if you go with glass or carpet will also determine prices. carpet is easier.. glass looks better. but if you use your trunk I would suggest NOT going with the glass. the carpet looks fine anyway. just my 2 cents though

well if your good with wood working or even with fiberglass then its cheap as hell! i do custom fiberglass set ups and build custom speaker boxes for a audio company in my town... they pay me $25.25 an hr to do that and i love it cause every set up is different! i never really get bored with it, altho the sanding sucks ass! so if someone like me did the work for you at a shop it would roughly cost you about 300-500 for just a box! now if you did it yourself, it would be more like 50-100... just practice and you will get the hang of it!

here is our site... the store is called Audio Designs, the web site below has some pictures on the bottom of 2 installs i have done... i dont know why they dont put more on there but oh well, still some nice installs but i have done better, like we did an Amigo that held the world record about 4 years ago, that had 48- 10 inch subs with 24 amps... that thing was nuts at 179.9 dbls! it would make your heart stop!
