My boss let me take his Rx 300 to prom and all the way to a friends cottage for the after party... I was proud until kids rolled in with corvettes, M3's, SL's, and escalades... took the wind right out of my sails...luckily my gf at the time couldn't tell a bimmer from a taxi

Re: Prom night

I took the Tundra. Went out looking for a mudhole the day before, but never found one, so i detailed it instead.

Had to help the GF in/out due to the dress.

Re: Prom night

Was supposed to take 2002 monte carlo. Then my mom decided she didnt want vallets driving a "new" car around all over (not like it's hot or anything), so she paid for a limo service. Got a 2002 towncar or something like that.

Prom sucked for me anyway. Broke up with my girl that night.

I didn't go. I couldn't come up with a good reason to waste that much money. I did loan my 94 VR4 to one of my sisters for hers though.

Re: Prom night

haven't gone to prom yet (still a junior) but i will most likely just take my car. most of the people at my school love my car, so i won't have to be worried about people making fun of me with bringing a crappy car to prom.

Re: Prom night

Try a 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo. Only half cool in 1985 but my gf had nice big hooters. :-)

Re: Prom night

My dads VW Passat V6 4MOTION, well that's what dropped us off to the preball. We then went on a chartered bus to the ball....... and then went to the Afterball in a "Party bus" Which is basically a double decker London bus with a nice sound system. Then caught a Ford Falcon (AU) taxi home.
