just a couple of custom street rods

a couple of my latest "street rod" models, if thats the category they are in...

the first is done, well mostly, hood isn't done as well as still needs plumbing and wiring....its a 66 ford fairlane. i gave it a "metalcast" blue(anodized look) paintjob with chrome base..... the paint looks better than this in person, and kind of changes colors. not really to much custom on this one, i gave it some better wheels, as well as that supercharger. for some reason in the pic it looks like the rear tire is not on the rim...opps..

the second one is "in progress", its a 64 GTO thats gonna have a twin supercharged motor. i painted it "metalcast" red anodized paint on top of a gold base coat. the wheels are from a 57 vette street machine, i believe they are weld prostars, and the rear tires from a nascar.will post more pics when done...and like above, these pics do not do the color justice, the color is awesome and changes from an orangy color to a wine color....you can see the custom intake mainifold i made up out of a single supercharger manifold and a modified lamborghini intake.. i still need some scoops for the carbs though..

and here are just some pics of older models i made,

you can see the 454 powered S10 here with wheelie bars and working teanau cover "subs"(see the wire? )

and here you can see the aluminum 427 C5R powered 82 Z28 parked next to a replica of my real life car, a 1991 trans am GTA..white and such

what do ya'll think?

Hmmm.. for the gto, should stick with two of the same superchargers, one looks different.

yeah they are a litle different, i swapped the side the pulley is on to keep the motor symetrical, but the superchargers are from different parts cars, and i don't have another the same, so i will have to call them "close enough"

Try doing a few outside in sunlight and from different angles.
FOr your close up shots see if your camera has a macro setting, this allows you to take a picture very close to those small pieces and still be in focus.

Chrome trim ? Heck yeah . A few BMF details will make it look great.
