Pacific Northwest help please
I found this trip report:
AHTANUM: Nice area, a few long trail loops, mountains, moderately wide trails BATEY-BOULD: CAPITOL FOREST: Greasy when wet, ongoing logging, great views and trails CHIKAMIN: DEVILS BACKBONE: DEVILS GULCH: ENTIAT RIVER: Hikers, bikers, and horses on trails. Not too cool but pretty EVANS CREEK: Bridge out, open in Sept. 98, Mt. Rainier in your face, see glaciers GRANT COUNTY: Dunes, lake in hot weather, see all in a day, watch out for others JONES CREEK: First ORV park in WA. Wet jungle, deep mudholes, and a blast LITTLE PEND OREILLE: H MAD RIVER: MILLER PEAK: Drove over it, never found trailhead, torched brakes on truck NACHES BASIN: Have not seen lately, excellent weekend trip in moderate temp. SAWTOOTH: TABLE MOUNTAIN: 500ft hillclimbs, views, dusty & hot, jeeps, must see again TAHUYA FOREST: New trails, all year-round riding, level & wide trails, very nice TANEUM: Trails being cleared, most trails open, steep traversing narrow trails, wow WALKER VALLEY: Wet if clouds in Puget Sound, root steps, killer fun & tough And was wondering if someone could tell me where these are located? The website that I got them from is pretty much toast, sot he links dont work. Thanks a lot. |

Here's a start.
http://www.nmaoffroad.org/orvmap.htm If you want to find trails, the best thing to do is join a club. PNWX goes to at least 3 of those trails in Washington. www.pnwx.net |

Thanks.
I sent an email to PNWX.Net a month or so ago and never heard a response. I will try again. |

The PNWX is in a transition period right now. One of the guys running it went out and got a <<cough>> Disco <<cough >>. That's probably why you have not heard anything.

Hire Chad!
I thought that maybe Mosi was turning over the site to Chad?

What, I don't want no dam Aussie Apple fan running my web site :hehe: ? Next think you know he's going to be renamed it to iPNWX and putting up pictures of kangaroos.
I think that's the plan but it sounds like they're still working on the transition. |

PlatnumToof,
There are quite a few people in the Seattle area who like to go out and 'wheel. Give PNWX some patience and I think you'll dig the results! It sure beats the hell out of digging yourself out of hole or wondering how your going to keep your Truck's butt out of a frozen pond.... Occassionally you get to view some real Canadians in their natural environment too! Jens - If you quit snortin' Coke you might be able to afford those new tires |
