memphis VS kicker
im throwing around ideas for subs and wondering how these 15" kickers would match up against these 15" memphis.
kicker: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+05CVR154.html memphis: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...15-PR154D.html i noticed the magnet size on the memphis is like half the size of the kicker.... |

Re: memphis VS kicker
Ya, the magnet is much, and if you notice, the memphis only take 1/2 the RMS power. And personally, as a rule of thumb, I woudlnt get any speakers with designs in the surround. Its just a "me" thing (lol). However, I woudlnt get the mephis either. But, if your on a budget and thats all you can get, much better than nothing.

Re: memphis VS kicker
I would look into the following if I were you:
RE, FI, ID They all have REALLY good subs, and decently priced. Of course, it depends on what kind of sound you are looking for. SPL (loud) or SQ (sound Quality) The above brands have both in one at an unbeatable price. |
