What kind of tires do you have?

My tires are kind of bald and I'm looking at Kumho 712's right now for about $61 a piece.

Any recommended places to get 205/55R15 for really cheap?

Re: What kind of tires do you have?

I had the kumho 712s for awhile. I liked them quite a bit as they were pretty sticky around corners. As for straight line grip, they left something to be desired for some reason. Not the best treadwear either.

I have toyo proxes FZ4s right now, for the all weather tires. They work great in all weather, but not so much dry as the 712s. I'll be trading them for some Yoko AVS-ES 100s or the new Proxes 4 come summertime.

I had Toyo proxes last year and I liked them. I got new rims this year with Nankings and they seem to work and they were cheap

Re: What kind of tires do you have?

on my stock rims (i only used them during winter), i have goodyear eagle ga's. they were 213 a set mount and balanced, and they serve me well. but they don't make them in 205/55r15... i have 205/50r15's.

also a good way to get deals on tires, is to buy "blim's". they are like a defect tire, usually in the lettering, or a small mark in the tire.
