VIN Locations on the Body Panels
Ok, I might be buying a 240 real quick. Well, my parents are going to look at the car for me since I'm out of the country at the moment. I know I've seen people post about the VIN being on the body panels. Where are the general locations of these stickers or plates? I want to make sure that it's not been in a major accident.

One is on the driverside of the dash right under the windshield. The other is along the rim of the door. When you open the door, it is near the opening of the door(the other side of the hinges) and you will see a sticker there. Hope that helps. there is one on the engine but i doubt you will go look for it lol.

i wonder what would happen i i bought a jdm s13 and switched the vins with a usdm s13. would that work?

that's probably illegal, since it's not the same car
it's kinda like taking a civic vin and putting it on a different civic...it just doesn't work
