98 Lumina LTZ serpentine belt change
Is there any certain way to release the tension on the serpentine belt? The car is an 1998 LTZ with the 3600(?) V6. I havent taken a real good look at it yet and figured I would post here to see if anyone else may have some helpful info. for me. Thanks!

Re: 98 Lumina LTZ serpentine belt change
should be a tensioner near the alternator, just just a 1/2 ratchet to release it, but u have to hold it open while u take the old belt off/put new blet on. real easy. either a 3.1L or a 3.8L. I'm pretty sure the LTZ's have the 3.8.
