99' Lock Remote only works w/in 3 ft. of Burb
I've replaced batteries numerous times, took remote apart and cleaned it, heck, I've even smacked it a few times and It still has no range. I also find myself having to aim the remote directly at the front dash area just to get the rear tailgate glass to open (non barn door).
Am I missing something? Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on what can be done to increase the range of the remotes? I swear, the next time I'm in a parking lot and some yutz locks or unlocks his Dodge from 50 feet, I'm gonna' run him over! ![]() Thanx! Vernon |

use your CHIN !
same problem i have on my 98 !
i also changed batteries & cleaned the damn thing. Try this, hold the remote up to your chin & press the button ! * I swear this works !* I worked at a dealership we did this all the time. It seems your body acts like an antenna! |
