Is it rich fuel?? Guys, help me out here..

hey guys, how do you know when you're running too much fuel??? Can i adjust it??? My Prelude coughs out black smoke whenever i start the engine cold. And whenever I floor it in 2nd & 3rd gear, a little cloud of smoke comes out the back...I already put in new Arias forged pistons and rings so i know it's not that. I also replaced the V-tec head with Skunk2's and it's still smoking. I went back to the place where they put my stuff in and they told me that it's going to cost me $60 for the diagnos. I told them that I only wanted their opinion on what's wrong with it. They said that they don't know either, they're going to have to check it for $60. F*@# them. A friend of mines said that its' too much fuel. Is it?? Can I adjust it???? Thanx guys...

Your friend is right, black smoke is an indicator of running rich.

First thing I'd check is your spark plugs. If you smell gasoline when you take them out (and/or see residue), switch them for new plugs. Colder ones if you're using platinum plugs. Check on that one first, and get back to us.

Spark plugs are all new. They're NGK Iridiums. The whole head is all new including port & polished, 1mm oversized titanium valves, rockers, valve springs, retainers, skunk2 stage 2 cams, and adjustable AEM cam gears which they adjusted. Man, my car runs really sh@#y. They want more money if I ask them. I already spent close to 10 G's on this car.
I'm going all motor with this and all. I already have lots of problems with my sound system. Not smoke too....Dang....Thanx though man, appreciate it....
