Almost everyone that I have talked to that has "tried" to make their own lambo door kit has failed miserably and has given up.

I had (actually just sold them last weekend) DECAH doors on my hatch. The actual steel assembly wouldnt be too hard to make if you knew how to weld. The thing that keeps people from making the kits is the shock. I had my body shop look at the shocks and they said that the shocks are custom made. You cant just go out and buy these suckers. Bigger/smaller shocks wont work because they wont fit.

I saw some ricers at NOPI that made their own kits. They had poles holding their doors up, like propping them open. I thought that was pretty funny.

You are better off buying the kit like everyone else has suggested.
