Booing in Mexico.

Did anybody hear about the Mexicans booing during the national anthem before a soccer game in Mexico at the American team?
I thought that it was funny, that some Americans were so offended that they wanted Mexico to apologize.
While the booing was certianly disrespectful, and uncalled for - I think it was a good example of the idea of "what goes around, comes around" in that Americans can't expect to act like assholes to foreign countries all the time, and then expect everybody to like them.
Some people might be thinking right now, "well if Mexico is so great, why do so many Mexicans come to the U.S. illegally?"
But the fact of the matter, is that many illegal workers, don't stay in the U.S., they go back to Mexico after a year of working or so, after all - would you want to stay in a country were everybody makes fun of you? Treats you like you are stupid?
So they do have reasons to be sore towards the U.S. although, the behavious at the game was uncalled for. But then again, what's wrong with cheering your own team and booing at the visitors?

If Mexico apologizes, it'll only be because they're kissing ass, not because they mean it.

If Mexico apologizes, the assholes have won.

Eh, Canadians and Americans do that kind of shit all the time at Hockey matches, I don't know why they were offended. Besides... everyone knows how Mexico is, they're like a pack of wild dogs, they'll always BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM!

Re: Re: Booing in Mexico.

I was somewhat surprised by how offended people were, "friendly" booing is a part of soccer, especially on the other side of the Atlantic. I guess Americans still aren't used to soccer enough.
As for biting the hand that feeds them, the U.S. is one of Mexico's biggest obstacles from becoming a first world country (their biggest obstacle however is their lack of infrastructure) Being that the U.S. (and Canada) made an ugly bag o' crap called NAFTA that limits Mexico's maximum wage at a rather low sum (so we can enjoy good, quality, "Made in mexico" products at good, low, prices )

'Hecho en Mexico', Why, whatever do you mean 2stroke?? Why I was over at the local Dodge lot the other day and saw that the almighty SRT4 and HEMI engines are BOTH 'Hecho en Mexico'.... I believe that's your cue Polygon!

Poor, poor Dodge... stooping so low as to pay its workers in pints of Tequila...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Booing in Mexico.

Well maybe not at good low prices. You'd think that vehicles made in Mexico would be cheaper, considering how little the workers get payed.
You know, I wonder if I could buy a Dodge and pay with pints of Tequilla? (or a Hoover vacume cleaner)

.........You know, that's a good idea! Walk up to a salesman at the Dodge lot and ask him if a pallet of Jose Cuervo would count as a down payment!

"But... it could at least pay for part of the engine right??"

Yeah, you would think that getting the engines from Mexico would make them cheaper, but that certainly isn't the case. ($28,500 for a shortbed, single cab base model with a Hemi?? Kiss-my-ass!!)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Booing in Mexico.

Well, that's how they screw Americans twice. First they get rid of American jobs, and give them to Mexicans (first screw) then, rather than reducing the price because of the money that they've saved by betraying American autoworkers, they make the price even higher (second screw)
It's all about the profits, ain't it?

Mexicans were booing the US national anthem? Must have missed it. They were probably playing some stupid ass game where you can’t use your hands or something equally as dull. Those fans aren’t to bright

If they were chearing for someone of the likes of Osama then either the paper was wrong, mistunderstood or there are a several thousand mexicans displaying very poor taste.
