89 Ford Probe + V6 Vulcan
I have an 89 probe and a 94 mercury sable. The sable has the 3.0L V6 Vulcan engine. I know the later probes had that particular V6 in them. Does anyone know if it is possible to drop that engine into the 89 Probe? I realize there would be some modding but i mean besides that.

You could probably do it, just make sure all of the sensors matched up. In addition, you may have to compare things like the intake and exhaust manifolds to make sure they were the same.
Go over to www.probetalk.com (the first gen section) and ask if this is possible. I have a 2nd gen so my knowledge may be lacking.
