Just bought has a couple of problems

I bought a Grand Cherokee about a week ago and it has a couple of problems that i forget to check for. The windshield wipers only work on high and low. They won't run on delay and when i turn them off they stop wherever they are. So i have to have imaculate timing to get them to stay in a place where i don't mind them. My other problem is that in cold weather i can hear a belt squeek and the altranater won't charge. Its got a brand new belt. If anyone could help me i would appreciate it a lot.

Re: Just bought has a couple of problems

the new belt may have stretched a little and need to be retightened. (as often is the case with new belts). Or the alt pulley is whats sqweaking and the alt needs replaced. scince belt is new, I'd start there.

The wiper problem is the intermitant controller on driver side behind the kick panel beside your left foot. section of circuit is burned. Another thread here tells how to repair or you can replace. two plugs and a piece of velcro holding it in - done.
