*random puking noises*

you prolly couldnt even find some to fit on the 97-01 tibs, we have small wheel wells. 17s will rub with ours unless you get a very small tire.

Nothing beats what I noticed the other day at a redlight in downtown Boston. I had the honor of pulling up next to a 95 Escort wagon with (brace yourselves, now) 14" spinner wheel covers. I shit you not. Driving were two of the happiest Mexicans I have ever seen, obviously under the impression that their car is by far the hottest thing out there. After I stopeed laughing hysterically (35-40 minutes later), I asked myself this question: To what lengths will people go to make themselves look like complete idiots?

Re: Spinners on a tib

I have a better one for you. I was driving around in Downtown Redmond yesterday and I saw a New Bettle with PLASTIC sinnners....oops....spinners. I laughed so hard because I know that if they close the door on the car too hard that they will fall off

Only a matter of time before they ban those hubcap spinners. Think about....
You're doing 65 mph down I-95 in your 1982 Corolla. Gotcha Wal-mart subwoofers in the trunk, neon lights all aglow, "fear this" stickers looking all tight, curb feelers are polished up, and WHAM!...
You're precious plastic spinners that you saved so many TacoBell paychecks for go shooting off the rims, causing a massive panic reaction from the other cars behind you, due to the fact the the actual "spinner" on the "rim" is only held in place by a freakin push-pin.....
I'm telling you guys, we need to rid the world of these $29.99 Auto-zone specials before somebody gets f*cked-up...

Re: Spinners on a tib

... WHATS WRONG WITH WORKIN AT TACO BELL no need to bring taco bell into this fight?!

and if a spinner came loose.. it would probably float down to teh ground like a leaf.. and if it actually hit a car.. the itd be like a pebble...
