Talking Toyota GT-One

Finally got some photos taken of the finished Toyota GT-One, sorry they look a bit dark though. It's the Tamiya kit with a set of DMC decals to convert it to the Le Mans 1998 colour scheme. Kit went together very well (what can you expect, it's Tamiya), although the decals were a little awkward in places.

The Nissan is well underway now, but the body's going to need a little bit of work to tidy it up, pics when finished.

I haven`t got an underneath shot, there`s not really much to show due to the aerodynamics it`s just flat, apart from the rear end that has a diffuser on it.

The engine bay is standard, no mods. It is an awesome kit.

I guess the lamp must have thrown the flash on the camera Steve!
Still, looks superb though!

Shame we'll never see the engine on the R390 Nissan!
I guess you'll simply not make it?

Dan

I will have to make the engine, in fact i am doing it now, as you can see it through the rear window!! DOH!!

It is the porsche`s engine that you will not be able to see. That is why no engine comes with the kit.

OK guys, this is old news, last posted nov, 2001 and the thread lived on page 220...

But I think it's worth the revamp. This is just a stunner! Well done Steve

ps. Watch out guys for more older stuff, since I've decided to digg AF up from the very last page, 227 or so. And everything I feel is cool, wicked, nice enough to share, I'll kick it up-front again
