Question Help me on mods to my 03 rsx-s

OK i have an 03 rsx and i wanna hook it up to the fullest.
Ive read alot of posts and it sounds like headers and intake are a waste of money, is this true or will i/h/e make a difference?.

Also what about the turbo kit WHat are ur opinions on that?.

I currently have comptech cat back exhaust, ADR 18" rims and lowering springs. What should i do next?

what you want to do next all depends on where you want to go with your car.

do you want your car to be a show car, drag car, autocross car, or maybe a slight combination of all of those?

also, how much money do you have to work with?

my opinions on turbo...AWESOMENESS!!!

For 1,500 you should be able to get an intake, exhaust, header and one of those neat little air fresheners that add like 15whp.

Exhaust = 400-600
Intake = 100-200
Header = 300-500.

After that, it's the little stuff, plugs and wires. Maybe an fpr. You could always get pulleys. Basically, you're only gonna have a couple hundred left so spend it on things that matter, that is if you want power.

Re: Help me on mods to my 03 rsx-s

I/H/E will make a difference and u will be able to feel it, but it wont be a breath takin difference. How do u like the Comptech exhaust. it seems thats a popluar choice for RSX owners. i herd it sounds hot. as for intake goes the poplular choice is AEM or Injen. and for header u could go wit comptech or DC Sports. u can go wit the new Greddy Turbo Kit or if u wanna supercharge ur car Jackson Racing came out wit an application.

I would not recommend anyone using the Nology wires. I've heard some nasty first hand accounts of them. Basically the spark is too hot. Plus they are not worth the 200.00 and you wires are only as good as your coil/coil pack. As far as the header, go with a name brand like DC sports.

You know what they say as far as you get what you pay for. It still holds true even on ebay.

save up and go TURBO. Forget about the headers and intake cuz if u eventually go the turbo route, ur gonna have to junk them anyways. RSX's love to be force fed!!! Go check out this company, they're pro's when it comes to turbo n the K20's.

Re: Help me on mods to my 03 rsx-s

YEah the comptech exhaust sound really smooth.
not like those loud shitz that sound hella sheap lol.

i think i'll just go Turbo!!.
I mean everyone knows that my ryde looks tight.But they dought it's power.

ANd as for headers and intake if it doesnt make a big difference then it's a waste of money.
i dont wanna sound louder but not even go faster lol....

IF i put a turbo will i be able to beat an SRT-4?
If so what's the best turbo for the RSX?.
p.s
thanks for ur guys opinions it really helps

Don't supercharge it. It gives you a decent gain, but if you ever want more, it's more difficult than with a turbo.

Oh, by the way, did anyone see that the founder of Jackson Racing retired.

Re: Help me on mods to my 03 rsx-s

if they guy wants a good street car that can still run good at the track supercharge it. if u want straight up power than turbocharge. im more of a turbocharger guy myself. but it all depends on wat he wants to do and how much he wants to spend.
