resetting check engine light

hey everyone new guy here with a quick question. my check engine light came on in my 2001 cavalier, went to autozone they checked it,it was the front o2 sensor. i changed it today but cant figure out how to reset the light. i unhooked the battery, pulled the battery fuses under the hood for like an hour ,hooked it all back up and the light is still on.any ideas? thanks Kenny

Re: resetting check engine light

ok i fixed the o2 sensor and had another code. vac leak, canister, or gas cap. if you have this code look at the rear axle pass.side you'll see some wires check those out. mine were broke and a guy at work had a 2001 with the light on. i looked and his wires were broken too. said he had it in the shop and noone could figure it out. thanks kenny
