New Member with Completed S10 Xtreme

Hey everyone, Im a new member but I have been reading the boards for a while now. I just recently completed my dream truck lol. I took the Xtreme S10 by AMT and made it how I will make my Xtreme. I added some larger wheel but to fit them I add to change the front and rear suspension parts. I also shaved the thrid brake light. The major iteam I did was add a Chevy 427 engine. I know that my real truck my never have a 427 but thats my models are so much cooler lol. Anyways here it is, its about 99% done. I just need to paint the front side lights and add the headlights. And I may paint on the window trim if I feel like it, Im starting a new model so I probaly wont paint them anytime soon. Tell me what you think, the paints not perfect but I really like how this truck turned out. lol Ok so i have the pictures saved on my comouter but how do I post them into the thread? lol sorry I new.

Welcome to AF!

As I'm sure others will be quick to point out, posting pics is covered in the FAQ. To make a long story short, when you sign on to AF, you're alotted a space for uploading and displaying images. Up at the top of the screen, next to Home, click Gallery. Then click my images, and you can upload there. Once they're uploaded, you copy and paste their addresses in your post.

Re: New Member with Completed S10 Xtreme

welcome to AF! i would very much like to see your truck model.

upload the image to the internet(some sites don't allow you to post pics on forums and such, i use Photobucket(kinda slow, but oh well), and you also have space in your gallery). to add it to the thread just type . i'm pretty sure that's it.

Check out the car modeling FAQ thread, there is a section in there that totally covers posting images to a thread

That looks great! Love the wheels! I just bought those same ones. I think I'm going to use them on a '41 Chevy truck.

looks great! since you're using the AF gallery it makes things easier. right under your picture you should see a url with around it. just copy that and paste it into the edit/reply box.

I like the color and the wheels, and the paintwork looks excellent. Great work.
