O2 Simulator
Hey guys, nice forum!
I don't have a Sentra but my Elantra GT uses the same O2 sensors as yours. I have search all over your site but haven't been able to find anything on simulators. There is no O2 simulator made for my car but is there for yours? Does it work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx |

why do you need one? got rid of your cat and have a check engine light?
some aftermarket exhausts come with 02 simulators i think. SERs have two cats, and i've heard of ser owners relocating their 02 sensor downwind from the second cat when they get a new header. if your running w/o any catalytic converter, then as far as i know, you'll just have to deal with the check engine light. i'm not too knowledgable about this stuff tho, sorry. |

Re: O2 Simulator
Yes, I have an OBX header with 1 high flo cat and custom stainless exhaust w/dynomax muffler. I had to have a bung welded after the cat for the second o2 sensor. After lengthening the wires, I got about 1k miles before I got that dreaded cel. The code says the cat is not working properly (not enough o2).
Your car and my car use the same (aftermarket) o2 sensors before and after the cat. I have also seen on another thread someone talking about .45v output from the o2 sensor, but that persons email and membership is no longer active. I appreciate your responses. |

Re: O2 Simulator
Assuming you really do have the same o2 sensors as us, there are some simulators out there that you can find. Unfortunately I don't know where to find them...

Re: O2 Simulator
The aftermarket o2's are the same front and rear on both. I called www.casperselectronics.com today and they said the had an o2 SIM for the Sentra so I think I'm gonna try that one.
