help.....
Before truck broke down....was showing code 23.....
since then I've done a tune up and....replaced map sensor.... it starts but run very poor....smells like burning gas or overloading and has no pick up speed.....can anyone help??? thanks, bret |

The code is Manifold Air Temp. (MAT) sensor -signal voltage is low...or Throttle Position sensor TPS error..............
Not sure what to do ....so if anyone can please help... thanks bret |

code 23 for1990+earlier is a manifold air temp sensor or for carburated models code 23 stands for a mixture control(MC) Selenoid.or code 23 could be an Intake air temp sensor if fuel injected+newer then 1990.What year did you say it was?1926?
