Exclamation Getting an Insurance co. to fix my car !!

This past sunday a woman backed into my car as I was trying to park beside her. Passenger side door, side skirt, and part of rear quarter panel damaged. I called police and have accident report stating that she was at fault. I have contacted her Insurance co. and have yet to hear from them. What should I do to get the ball rolling? And what should I do to protect myself? Does anyone have any experience in these matters? Any info. will help! I had just washed/waxed and shined my rims when she destroyed my beautiful baby!!! All I want is to get her looking as good as before the accident. Thanx.

What insurance company?
Full coverage?

Well if you have no-fault full coverage you should not have any problems and you should not have to pay the deductible...since you got the po report and it was her fault. Well that is how it is with my insurance, and if they give you beef CALL SAM

She had Cotton States Ins. co. and mine is Southern Gen. I have full coverage and I assume she had full coverage on her '99 corolla.

i had a similar experience but a guy was leaving a party i was at and he backed his truck up onto my hood.... i got the popo report and i got his info. i called his insurane (allstate) and they moved fairly fast but i had to bug them a few times....then they tried to dick me out of my money....so what i did was i went to my insurance and registered a claim through them as a no fault collision...and all i did was pay my deductable and they payed for the rest....and they also got allstate to re-emubrse me for the deductable ... you could look into doing something like i did to ... its upto u .... but best of luck with whatever u choose to do
