What car?

I am current ly looking for a project car and having trouble making up my mind. I was wondering what your favorite cars are or if you have any suggestions. Feel free to post a pic, I enjoy eye candy

Re: What car?

i am on a budget since i am a college student but i am planning on doing the work over an extended amount of time. as for my skills, i can do most of it but just don't have the tools for body work. I also do beleive there is always room to expand though. i am really just trying to find that special project and hoping ya'll might spark some interest from some of your cars. i also am wondering if there is a good web site to find them of i i should just stick to junk yards and side of the road deals. thanks

Re: What car?

Another important question: What do you want the car to DO? You need to give us a little more info on what your goals for the car might be. There are many good performance cars and older muscle and pony cars. Narrow it down a bit!

Re: What car?

You might also want to make sure parts wont be extremely expensive or hard to find before you settle on a project car, that might make it easier to settle upon.

Re: What car?

Yeah i would like to find a car that has cheap parts. I know 5.0 stangs are a dime a dozen but if you can't tell i'm f-body man. I would like to find an early 70's trans am. I am looking for a street performance car. I would mod my 96 t/a but i have a lot more experience with carburated cars and i plan on doing pretty much every thing but body work and paint. I also like the early camaros and GTO's. But again the biggest thing is finding one. Did any of ya'll find your projects online, if so where?

Re: What car?

I would leave this thread open, if the last post was actually useful. As it isn't, thread closed.
